Oval Platter with Solomons Seal

Casey Seawell Freeman of CSF Ceramics is a storyteller and her medium is clay. Her handmade tableware is functional and meant to be used in the ritual of everyday life. Casey hand builds, slip casts, or wheel throws each piece in her studio in Richmond, Virginia. The work reflects her personal inspiration from the natural world… each piece has meaning. 

Solomon’s Seal for decisiveness, seeking, & positivity. A branch of Solomon’s Seal can be given to “seal” an oath or promise. A commitment to one’s self or to another.

Each piece is handmade using stoneware and lead free glazes. Expect slight variations from the photo.
