Peterman's oval boards are made out of spalted maple wood. Maple wood is characterized by a smooth grain and unique light color. Their oval boards have a rough, soy stained edge and an oval shape. They make wonderful cutting boards and beautiful displays for breads, cheeses and charcuterie.
