Joyce is a mother, a grandmother, a psychotherapist, a dancer, a former Pinch shopgirl, and an artist. Her found image collages explore an autobiographical theme of events and moments from her life in a series entitled "Creative Nonfiction." Joyce is a beloved member of the Pinch community.
